Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and well-known comedians. The comedian has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage title Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comic. Bea first began her career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011, after playing a few small roles she appeared in Irish and British television dramas from 2009. She was already regularly appearing on sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms. When she was awarded an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then became a regular on various panel show where she is becoming a mainstay. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was an ongoing contestant on its spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan, the actress is the mother of one sister named Sinead. In 2012, she was the first woman ever to win the So You Think You Are Funny Award. Bea is her name in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian who worked with horses who committed suicide when she was just three years old. She was not aware of the cause for her father's death until 13 years later. In 2017, Bea wrote an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's family. She also adopted her stage name Bea in remembrance of him. Bea was raised with her older sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer as well as a former professional racer. Their parents were both obsessed with horses and racing. Bea had a job as an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she didn't want a racing career. Instead she loved the performing arts.
