Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film best known for her performances in films such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her professional career in the show business from a young age. By the time she was 16, Alexandra had landed leading roles in several shows on television. Following her critically-acclaimed character in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went onto play more notable roles such as Adolf Hitler's secretary, Traudljunge, in Downfall. The film won an Oscar and was a critical as well as commercial popularity. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning actress. Alexandra was associated with numerous notable projects, both nationally and internationally. They include the British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. Her other roles include being juror at both and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
