Andrea Robinson (born in New York City) is an American actress and singer. She was a member of the chorus and sang for numerous actresses. Burt Bacharach was her opening performance. Sister Mary Robert was her most well-known role as a vocalist for another actress in Sister Act. Andrea Robinson was known for her funny behavior, an aspect that was always prominent throughout her film career. Robinson began her acting career in the comedy "Crazy Moon", which was a comedy starring Kiefer Spence with Peter Spence in 1987, as well as in the sequel "Sister Act 2 Back in the Habit" featuring Whoopi Goldberg in 1992. Robinson made her debut on the world of television when she appeared on "Baywatch Nights" the show which was on air from 1995 until 1997. Robinson also contributed music to "Parent Trap II" (Disney 1985-86). Her acting resume continued with roles such as "Sgt. Bilko", (1996) Gang Related, starring James Belushi and Eddie Murphy's cult comedy series Nutty Professor II The Klumps (2000). In this period Robinson also had an appearance on Arli$ for HBO (HBO from 1996 until 2002). Recently, Robinson was a part of Awkward (MTV in 2011-16). She earned her degree in Environmental Studies from University of California Santa Barbara. She also completed her studies in Theatre at California State University Long Beach. Andrea, who was first an actor before becoming hostess, has enjoyed tremendous successes. In the three years since she was a participant on CBS's Survivor, Andrea has become a host on MTV CBS Local Sports HLN along with the morning show of celebrities People Now at People.com.
